The New Carolina Institute for Clinical Research Offers Clinical Research Opportunities to the Hospital System’s 1 Million+ Patients in a Seven County Region
(Raleigh, NC) – Raleigh-based Wake Research (M3-Wake Research Associates, Inc.) announces a joint partnership with Cape Fear Valley Health, to form Carolina Institute for Clinical Research. The addition expands on Wake Research’s coast-to-coast coverage of clinical research populations in the United States and incorporates communities of nearly 14 million people.
The partnership brings the total number of sites in the Wake integrated network of premier investigational sites to 14, including 4 sites in the top 20, 6 in the top 45 and 12 in the top 100 metropolitan areas in the United States.
Cape Fear Valley Health serves a seven-county region of southeastern North Carolina, including Fayetteville, Hope Mills, Raeford, Lumberton, Elizabethtown, Clinton, Lillington, Dunn, and beyond. It is North Carolina’s 8th largest health system, serving patient populations with cardiac care, cancer treatment, surgical services, neuroscience, rehabilitation, orthopedics, pediatrics, geriatrics and more.
