Principal Investigator
Dr. Shaikh is a board-certified internal medicine physician with decades of experience providing comprehensive care across a wide range of chronic and complex medical conditions. His clinical focus includes cardiometabolic health, endocrine and hormonal disorders, gastrointestinal disease, dermatologic conditions, and population health. Dr. Shaikh brings a patient-centered, evidence-based approach to clinical research and is committed to advancing studies that improve long-term outcomes, disease management, and access to care for diverse patient populations.

With over 17 years of experience in clinical research with M3 Wake Research, Shandelle has conducted over 200 clinical trials in Phase II – IV with challenging populations in Adult/Pediatric Vaccines, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Osteoporosis, Dermatology, General Surgery, Postoperative Pain, Cervical/Lumber IDE, Robotic Arthroplasty, Osteoarthritis, Frozen Shoulder, Internal Medicine, and many other indications.
