Lawrence Allen, MD
Principal Investigator
Internal Medicine
Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Allen brings over 30 years of clinical practice and trial experience. He has led more than 210 clinical trials spanning adult medicine, metabolic disorders, migraines, obesity, and diabetes. Dr. Allen’s patient-focused care and commitment to education are key drivers of his success in research.
Anthony Valiente, MSN, APRN, NP-C
Principal Investigator
General Medicine
A seasoned Nurse Practitioner with ICU and clinical research experience. Valiente has supported a wide range of Phase II–IV trials and is known for his precision in protocol execution, participant education, and high-acuity clinical judgment.
Samuel Hickson, PhD, LCSW, NPT-C, CCTP, ADHD-CSP
Sub-Investigator
Behavioral Health
Sub-Investigator and certified rater with 10+ years of experience in clinical research, supporting studies in a variety of psychiatric and neurological trials and high-acuity clinical judgment.

Melissa has conducted over 400 clinical trials in Phase I – IV with challenging populations in adult/pediatric vaccines, sleep, internal medicine, schizophrenia, MDD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, essential tremors, postoperative pain, and many other indications.
