Meet the Principal Investigators

Dr. Lawrence Allen, MD, has more than 34 years of experience in the medical field of Internal Medicine and 30 years in contributions to clinical research. Dr. Allen has conducted more than 200 clinical trials in Phase II – IV focusing on adult migraine, NAFLD/NASH, gout, lipids, migraines, obesity, diabetes and abnormal hormones. 

Dr. Peter Philander, MD, has 53 years of experience in the medical field of Family Medicine and 48 years in contributions to clinical research. Dr. Philander has conducted more than 200 clinical trials in Phase I – IV focusing on vaccines and device studies along with internal medicine, such as diabetes, obesity, asthma, migraines, hypertension, oncology, and many others. 

Dr. Liliana Ruiz-Leon, DO, has 22 years of experience in the medical field of OB-GYN/Gyne and 16 years of experience in clinical research. Dr. Ruiz-Leon has conducted more than 100 clinical trials in Phase II – IV in women’s medicine, normal healthy volunteers, pediatric/adult vaccines, along with challenging populations such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Tardive Dyskinesia, and many others. 

Dr. Michael J. Olek, DO, has 35 years of experience in the medical field of neurology. Dr. Olek has conducted more than 50 clinical trials from Phase I – IV focusing on neurology including seizures, headache, and multiple sclerosis.
