Board-certified endocrinologist and founder of Summit Endocrine & Diabetes with a passion for innovative obesity and NASH treatments. Known for bridging science with patient care in complex metabolic trials.

Family medicine physician with 25 years of clinical research experience, specializing in general medicine trials, chronic disease management, vaccine trials, as well as endocrine/metabolic health and migraines
Ghulam Shaikh, MD

Haiyan Xiao, PhD, DNP, FNP-C
Sub-investigator
Dr. Haiyan Xiao holds a PhD in Immunology and is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. With over 15 years of biomedical research experience, she has authored or co-authored 30 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals. Additionally, she has more than 3 years of clinical research experience, contributing to Phase 2 and 3 clinical trials across orthopedics, endocrinology, and general medicine.
Melissa Cordova Rosado, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
Sub-investigator
Melissa Cordova is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a subspecialty in Gastroenterology in Raleigh, North Carolina. She offers extensive experience in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases.
