Meet the Principal Investigators 

Dr. Jeremy Hoff is an expert in the implantation of devices that help patients manage their pain, including spinal cord stimulators. Dr. Hoff has training and experience in both conventional treatments and alternative pain management techniques, including traditional care and cutting edge techniques. Dr. Hoff has a special interest in therapeutic injections using adipose (fat cells), PRP (platelet rich plasma), and bone marrow.  

Dr. Zub is board certified with the American Board of Anesthesiology with additional certifications in Pain Management and Safe Opioid Administration REMS Certification. Dr. Zub has a broad range of experience in pain management, chronic pain from Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, Failed Back Surgery Syndrome and spinal cord stimulation.

Shandelle Parker 

Site Director 
17+ years of experience in clinical research with M3 Wake Research 

Shandelle has conducted over 200 clinical trials in Phase II – IV with challenging populations in Adult/Pediatric Vaccines, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Osteoporosis, Dermatology, General Surgery, Postoperative Pain, Cervical/Lumber IDE, Robotic Arthroplasty, Osteoarthritis, Frozen Shoulder, Internal Medicine, and many other indications. 

April Thomas 

Sub-investigator

April Thomas earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and her Master of Science in Applied Exercise Science, both from Springfield College. She received her Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine with a concentration in Athletic Training from Merrimack College. Before joining EmergeOrtho, April worked in a pain management practice.
